Daughter of the Vote Chimwemwe Undi named a Schwartz-Reisman Scholar

Manitoba Daughter of the Vote Chimwemwe Undi (Winnipeg South) has been named a Schwartz-Reisman Scholar in recognition of her leadership, community involvement, and academic excellence. Chimwemwe uses art and poetry as a way to build community and expose injustice and is the co-founder of Voices, Ink. During the Daughters of the Vote events in Ottawa, Chim was invited preformed some of her original spoken word poetry on International Women’s Day. She is in her first year of law school at the University of Manitoba.
