Daughter of the Vote Hope Ace speaks on International Day of the Girl

On International Day of the Girl, Daughter of the Vote Hope-Ann Ace (Hamilton West - Ancaster - Dundas) spoke in the Senate about the importance of engaging young women in politics.  Hope joined Senators Kim Pate and Marilou McPhedran and other women leaders to connect with school-age girls as part of the #LeadLikeaGirl and #GirltoLeader initatives. Young girls, she said, need to see themselves in positions of leadership and Canadians need to support and celebrate diversity as we work to break the glass ceiling.

Do not be discouraged to lead because this platform is powerful and it is yours, so contribute to the conversation and make your voice heard.”
