Annie Hsu is a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, studying International Relations and History. Born in Toronto, Annie grew up in Shanghai, China until she was 11 years old when she moved back to Canada. A social entrepreneur and passionate advocate for immigrant communities, she founded her non-profit organization named Bridge The Heart which provides peer mentorship and participatory global citizenship training to youth immigrants. Annie has pursued her passions in international law and development as one of four Junior Team Canada delegates at the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit, an intern at the Council on Foreign Relations, and an United Nations Millennium Fellow. At Penn, Annie is a Perry World House Fellow, the President of the International Relations Student Association, and a Deputy Editor of the Sigma Iota Rho National Honor Society Journal for International Relations.
