Shae-Lynn Reesor is a first-year student at Trent University. She is enrolled in the concurrent teacher education stream, majoring in Indigenous Studies and minoring in English. She hopes this experience will help her to learn more about Indigenous peoples and how the different political parties may be contributing to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. She hopes to teach high school and to inform future students about the importance of Canada's Indigenous history since it was a very big issue not too long ago. Shae-Lynn is very excited for this experience and hopes to learn more about the values of different political parties through attending various events!
