Amelie is in her fourth year at the University of Ottawa, studying Criminology and Indigenous Studies. She is passionate about Indigenous rights and Indigenous activism. She hopes to pursue a Masters in Indigenous Education and would like to help make quality education more accessible to Indigenous communities in remote and rural regions of Canada. Amelie has been a Regional Mentor at the University of Ottawa for 3 years. She helps students from her home region of South West Ontario with their transition from high school to university.
She will also be travelling to Taiwan this summer to participate in a field research course where she will learn more about Indigenous people on an International level.@AHalls23
