Archanah Thurairatnam: Saint-Laurent

My name is Archanah and I'm a third-year student at the University of Ottawa pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology. After graduation, I hope to continue my education in law school. I was born and raised in Saint-Laurent but when admitted to the House of Commons Page Program, I moved to Ottawa to work as a Page for the 2017-2018 school year and attend university. My year as a Page really opened my eyes to the political sphere and is now a passion of mine. After my year as a Page, I was lucky enough to be selected to continue working for the House of Commons. I take a special interest in accessibility rights after working at a day camp for kids with physical disabilities. I also serve as an Ambassador for Cam's Kids; a non-profit foundation focused on providing support to youth struggling with anxiety. I'm excited to be serving as the delegate for Saint-Laurent and meeting new people along the way!
