Bibi Hakim: Kitchener South-Hespeler

Bibi Hakim, first generation Canadian born and raised in Toronto is a student at the university of Ottawa studying in the joint honours political science and public administration program. Bibi has a passion for politics and the public service; She has been a strong advocate for mental health, and women's rights. In 2017, she awarded the Duke of Edinburghs Gold award and gave remarks at the ceremony in the presence of the Duke of Sussex, awarded the GTA public hero award, the lieutenants youth volunteer service medal and the Ontario volunteer service award. Bibi is currently an alumni of the Toronto Police Service Youth in Policing Initiative, Forum for Young Canadians and currently serves as the Vice president of Philanthropy & Activism of AEEIPPSSA at the University of Ottawa. Bibi has aspirations to one day be the first female of colour elected as Canada's Prime Minister.
