Danielle Cherpako is a student in the Political Studies department at the University of Manitoba. Danielle has worked as a research assistant with the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) studying the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. She has worked with the Canadian International council and served as the board secretary. She is currently working as a research assistant on a project regarding Canada’s use of sanctions. Danielle is passionate about mental health, Indigenous rights and reconciliation, and empowering women. She hopes to pursue an MA in Political Studies.
