Jordyn is a recent Carleton University graduate where she studied Sociology and Canadian Students. However, she recently made the move to Thunder Bay, Ontario where she is pursuing her dream of studying Social Work at Lakehead University. As a proud Indigenous Women, she focuses on being relevant to social service needs of northern populations where she takes an ecological view to the social work practice. She works closely with the Ontario HIV Treatment Network where she is working on the Indigenous Cultural Youth project.
Jordyn holds the position of Region 7 Youth Representative on the Metis Nation of Ontario’s Youth Council, and is an active member of the Infinite Reach Student Solidarity Network.
