Olivia Karp: Eglinton-Lawrence

Olivia Karp: Eglinton-Lawrence

To all the Delegates of Daughters of the vote my name is Olivia and I am a first year at Ryerson University studying Politics and Governance. Throughout my high school and university life I have engaged in politics and have volunteered a lot in my community. I have been picked to represent the ridding of Eglinton and Lawrence. I am very excited to meet all the other delegates from other ridings and hear what they wanna say about Canada. I have done many things with engagement and politics. I was Community Outreach Director at my high school, Communications Secretary for my Provincial Liberal Club at school and First Year Rep for my program. I have done a lot of canvasing for MP Marco Mendicino and MP Bill Morneau. I volunteered for Councillor Josh Matlow and MP Marco Medicino in the past year or so. I am looking to start an Amnesty International Chapter at my school. Through all these extra curricular activities that I have done I learnt a lot about leadership, listening to people and meeting peoples needs. I am very active member in my Liberal Club at school and in the community. Thank you for reading my bio and can't wait to meet you all.
