Lydia Tang: Vancouver South

Lydia is in her final year of study at Simon Fraser University (SFU), completing a History major and a Political Science minor to deepen her understanding of socio-economic issues and the effects of government policy on ordinary people. Through SFU’s co-op program, Lydia has worked at the federal department of Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) in Vancouver and Ottawa, as well as the BC Ministry of Health (MOH) in Victoria. She seeks to learn more about the political side of government through Daughters of the Vote, pairing this knowledge with her previous public service experience.
