Tân’si Montana is studying law at the University of British Columbia and intends to graduate this spring with specializations in Aboriginal Law and Environmental and Natural Resource Law. Montana is a nehiyâw âpihtawikosisân iskwew and a Bigstone Cree Nation member from Wabasca, Alberta, located in Treaty 8. As a woman with Indigenous and Settler ancestry, she is interested in learning more about Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island and creating awareness of the different issues that Indigenous Peoples, and more specifically, women face.
Her other interests include creating beaded jewelry and artwork, exploring in nature, and learning traditional ways of being.@MontanaCardinal
