Rasha is in her final year of studies at McGill University completing a B.A. with a double major in Political Science and Gender, Sexuality, Feminist, and Social Justice Studies. She is passionate about addressing gender inequality issues, and advocating for youth empowerment and socio-economic justice. Recently, she completed an internship with Save the Children as a Gender Equality Support Officer, has served on the Students' Society Equity Committee, and conducted a research study under the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies about non-status women's rights in Canada. Furthermore, she has committed her community engagement work towards sexual violence prevention and awareness as the former External Coordinator and current Political Educator of the Sexual Assault Centre of McGill Students' Society.
