Rym is currently in her fourth year at the University of Alberta, finishing a degree in Political Science and International Relations. She has lived in three provinces: Québec, Ontario, and Alberta. Rym is fluently trilingual, speaking English, French and Arabic and is currently learning Spanish. She is passionate about travelling, learning about others and promoting diversity. She has volunteered with Amnesty International on University Campus and has also worked as a Parliamentary Guide in Ottawa.
Rym feels strongly about social justice issues, locally and globally. She is passionate about immigrant and refugee rights and hopes to continue her studies in this field.
