From a young age, Sabrina has loved traveling and has been to every continent with the exception of Antarctica. Because of this exposure to various political climates and systems, Sabrina acquired a passion for international politics, development and sustainability. Currently, she is a fourth year International Relations student at the University of Calgary. Throughout her university career, Sabrina has become passionate about democratic welfare, decolonialization and Indigenous issues, and fighting for women in leadership. Although she lives in Calgary, Alberta, Sabrina has previously lived in Ottawa where she was a parliamentary page in the House of Commons in the 2015-2016 academic year, and a communications intern at the Liberal Research Bureau through the Liberal’s Summer Leadership Program in 2018. Currently, she is the Vice President of Communications for the University of Calgary's NDP. Through this political exposure, Sabrina has been inspired to speak up about the difficulties women face in political climates and various ways our Canadian society can address this.
